PASCUI RIVAS   DIRECTOR & EDITOR

Pascui Rivas was born in New York City where he spent his early childhood. He then moved to Argentina, where he attended the Film Production program at Cordoba's National University. By making “El Sereno” (“The Night Watchman”), he became the first director in Argentina to produce a short film at such a large scale, combining sophisticated steady-cam sequences, with arial shots captured from a helicopter flying over the Cordoba mountains. This film won the “Kodak Film School Competition” obtaining honorable recognition from cinematographer Laszlo Kovacs. Pascui has won international awards for both, his films and his commercials, including Silver Lion at Cannes Lions (first Cannes Lion for agency Conill Saatchi & Saatchi), “Best of Show” at the AdAge/ Ahaa Awards for best US Hispanic spot and a Gold Medal at the New York Festivals. His documentary short  “Jean Lewis” was part of the Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival, Starz Denver Film Festival, Salt Lake City Film Festival, among others.

DIEGO GRIMBLAT   COMPOSER

Diego Grimblat was born in Buenos Aires and started studying piano when he was six years old. At age fifteen he studied composition, orchestration and arrangement and began composing soundtracks for short films and commercials. He won the “Best Soundtrack” award at the Havana Film Festival for the film "Un Oso Rojo" (A Red Bear, Adrian Caetano), working with the same director in the film Bolivia, as well as No sos Vos, soy Yo (It’s not You, It’s Me, Juan Taratutto); 18J, Peligrosa Obsesión (Dangerous Obsession); La Leyenda (The Legend). Diego has won many awards in Argentina for both, his music and for his original soundtracks in film and in TV series.

WILL KIM   WATERCOLOR ANIMATION​

Will Kim is a full time faculty member at Riverside City College, Art Department and a Los Angeles based filmmaker/artist. Kim grew up in Seoul, Korea and Los Angeles, California, loving drawing and painting. Will Kim received an MFA in Animation (Film, TV, and Digital Media) from UCLA and a BFA in Character Animation (Film and Video) from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts.) Kim currently teaches drawing, computer art, and animation classes at Riverside City College (Riverside Community College District.) Kim has received awards including Chuck Jones Award in Animation 2009 and UCLA Spotlight Awards. Kim’s work has showed in over 100 international film/ animation festivals and auditoriums including Directors Guild of America (DGA) Theater, Academy of TV Arts and Sciences Theater in Hollywood, The Getty Center, The USC Arts and Humanities Initiative, and Museum of Photographic Arts San Diego.
