“Mande" is a feature length documentary in search of the widest possible distribution. The beauty in this film lies in that it highlights the human side of the topic of immigration by focusing on one interdependent relationship in particular between Felipe, a Mexican plumber and Willie, the Californian journeyman who employs him.

Through an unprecedented intimist lens this documentary addresses the universal conflicts that affect and shape human beings in the modern world: finding a sense of belonging, establishing healthy relationships, striving to understand the complex patters that tie people to one another.

All this by allowing the ebb and flow of daily life itself to frame the form of the film, with footage captured over a decade.
